Arsenal will announce the signing of Bruno Guimaraes today.
The Brazil midfielder is understood to have passed a medical and signed a four-year contract at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal are paying around £75m to land Guimaraes from Newcastle, though it is understood that fee could rise as high as £80m.

Spanish outlet AS claim Racing Santander defender Jorge Salinas is being monitored.
However, United could face competition from Barcelona for the promising defender.
Mundo Deportivo go further be claiming that Man Utd are ready to trigger Jorge Salinas’ €16million (£13.7m) release clause.
The report claims that Man Utd scouts were impressed by Salinas’s performances during the Under-19 European Champonships, with Spain one with the player at regular at left-back.
Salinas, who can also play at centre-back, has three years to run on his contract at Racing.

Chelsea have finalised their signing of Pep Chavarria.
After protracted negotiations, an agreement was reached with Conference League finalists Rayo Vallecano earlier this week over the Spanish left-back believed to be worth an initial £16.3m plus add-ons.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chavarria will travel to undergo a medical today and sign a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester United have completed the signing of Cristian Orozco.
The highly-rated Colombian midfielder, 18, officially finalised his switch from Fortaleza CEIF on Thursday for a fee of around £850,000.
Orozco will initially join United’s academy setup, but will no doubt be eyeing a fast track through into Michael Carrick’s first-team squad.

Tottenham are close to reaching an agreement with Micky van de Ven over a new long-term contract.
According to widespread reports, the 25-year-old is set to become the third first-team player, after Pedro Porro and Antonin Kinsky to commit his future to Spurs.
Spurs have long hoped to tie Van de Ven down to longer terms, despite his current deal running out in 2029, though the club’s domestic struggles threatened to see him look to leave.
But Van de Ven is now expected to pen an extension which would put him in line with the club’s highest earners.

Talks between West Ham and Tottenham over a deal for Manor Solomon have stalled because of financial differences.
The Athletic report that West Ham are prepared to pay about £5m for the out-of-favour forward, but are unwilling to agree to the bonus payments Spurs want should they return to the Premier League.
Fiorentina remain in discussions with Tottenham over the Israel international, although the clubs are yet to agree a valuation. Solomon spent last season on loan in Serie A after previous spells with Villarreal and Leeds.

Manchester United have announced the signing of Colombian wonderkid Cristian Orozco.
The 18-year-old midfielder arrives from Colombian top-flight club Fortaleza CEIF, having been a product of Rojo FC's academy. He will initially link up with the academy.
According to reports, the deal is worth around £750,000. It was agreed last year, but Orozco had to wait until his 18th birthday before making the move to England.
The teenager visited Man Utd’s Carrington training ground last year, telling ESPN Colombia: “I visited the city and everything was very nice. I was able to see the stadium, the team’s training ground and honestly I’m fulfilling a childhood dream. It was very nice.
“My expectation from now on is to learn a lot of English. I realised that it’s very important and I want to arrive there, learn and adapt as quickly as possible. That’s what’s required to show my level there, what I can offer.
“I know my strengths are my physicality and my technique. I have those qualities and, with the gift God gave me, I don’t think it will be too difficult.
“But everything is about adapting. I’m very young and that’s what I’ll need to do."

Manchester United have made “concrete steps” to sign Liverpool target Ibrahim Mbaye.
L'Equipe report that the Paris Saint-Germain youngster is now a target for Man Utd, who have made progress in the race for his signature.
The report adds that several of Europe's biggest clubs are also actively working to secure Mbaye’s signature.
Mbaye has already made 41 senior appearances despite his young age, scoring four goals.

Nottingham Forest are exploring deal worth £55m for Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders.
The Mail report that the Netherlands international is open to the move as he looks for more regular first-team football and a prominent role under Oliver Glasner.
Reijnders joined City from AC Milan last summer for £46.5 million and made 47 appearances across all competitions, although many came as a substitute.
Atletico Madrid showed interest earlier in the transfer window but were deterred by City's valuation.

Liverpool are plotting a double transfer raid on Paris Saint-Germain.
The Reds remain eager to pull off a blockbuster deal for France forward Bradley Barcola, though must first attempt to knock down PSG’s huge £145m asking price.
Liverpool are also interested in signing Barcola’s club team-mate Ibrahim Mbaye.
Per The Times, a move has been explored that would be entirely separate to the pursuit of Barcola.
They say that Senegal international winger Mbaye, 18, would cost up to £43m.

Vinicius Jr has agreed a new contract with Real Madrid, ending Arsenal’s hopes of signing the player.
The Athletic report that the Brazil forward has agreed terms on an improved deal after talks with the Spanish club on Wednesday. An official announcement is expected soon.
Arsenal had identified the 26-year-old as a leading transfer target and were prepared to make a significant move if he became available.
Vinicius has spent eight years at the Bernabeu, making 375 appearances, scoring 128 goals and providing 100 assists. He has won three La Liga titles and two Champions League trophies since joining from Flamengo in 2018.

Liverpool’s only signing of the summer so far has now arrived at the club.
In June, the Reds triggered winger Victor Munoz’s £34.5m release clause at LaLiga outfit Osasuna.
However, his arrival on Merseyside has been delayed by Spain’s run to World Cup glory in North America and his subsequent post-tournament break.
Munoz has now reported for Liverpool duty after cutting that holiday short and is confident of making a swift debut in Sunday’s latest pre-season friendly against Monaco at Anfield.

Middlesbrough have agreed a permanent deal to sign Tottenham centre-back Ashley Phillips, writes Sam Tabuteau.
Standard Sport understands that the Championship club will pay an up-front fee of £7m plus potential future add-ons for the 21-year-old, who is set to undergo a medical.
It is believed that Spurs have also negotiated a sell-on clause in the deal to take Phillips to the Riverside Stadium.
Middlesbrough have been chasing Phillips all summer and now look set to raid Tottenham for the second time in this window after securing the signing of striker Will Lankshear last month in a club-record move that could reach as high as £20m.

Just a year after leaving Burnley to return to Manchester City, the England goalkeeper is now poised to complete a switch to Elland Road.
Leeds are paying £40m plus add-ons for Trafford, who cost City around £31m last summer.

Maghnes Akliouche will not be joining Liverpool this summer.
The Reds made an approach to Monaco for the France attacker last month as they assessed alternatives to international team-mate Bradley Barcola, having missed out on Yan Diomande.
Barcola’s current club, Paris Saint-Germain, have been chasing Akliouche all summer having missed out on Diomande themselves and saw multiple bids rejected before finally agreeing a fee of around €50m.
Fabrizio Romano reports that the 24-year-old and his representatives have just landed in Paris, where he will undergo a medical and sign a five-year contract.

Paris Saint-Germain are holding out for a fee of €150million (£128m) for winger Bradley Barcola.
According to French newspaper L'Equipe, the Ligue 1 champions are unwilling to lower their valuation despite continued interest from Liverpool during the summer transfer window.
The report says the asking price has proved a significant obstacle to any potential deal. Liverpool are understood to value the France international closer to £103m, with the two clubs yet to find common ground.
Barcola is reported to be open to a move to Anfield. However, negotiations remain ongoing and no agreement has been reached between the clubs.

As you can imagine, Salah will command a hefty salary in Turkey. It is said to be more than Victor Osimhen’s at Galatasaray, which was believed to be the highest.
Rather handily, Trabzonspor have confirmed the exact financial details of the deal. Salah will earn €17million a year, which consists of an annual salary of €10m plus a signing-on fee of €7m.
That works out at around £280,000 a week, including salary and signing-on fee, which is less than he was on at Liverpool.
Salah will receive performance-based bonuses for the duration of his contract, and 20 per cent of any ‘Mohamed Salah’ merchandise the club sell.
Combined, it should match and even surpass his Liverpool contract. Not a bad gig.
