Injuries are once again a big storyline for the Los Angeles Rams this week, though there is both good and bad news on that front. Sean McVay told reporters on Friday that Myles Garrett and Terrance Ferguson are expected to play against the Washington Commanders on Sunday. It will be Garrett's first game since Week 1 and Ferguson's first since Week 3.
That's the good news. The bad news is three other starters are in danger of missing the game, landing questionable tags for Sunday's contest.
McVay said before practice that Trent McDuffie, Kam Curl and Colby Parkinson are all questionable to play. McDuffie will not practice, which will be his third straight DNP this week. He injured his back while making a tackle last week against the Chargers and has been held out of practice ever since.
Additionally, Jordan Whittington (back) and Grant Stuard (hamstring) will be listed as questionable and will be limited in practice on Friday. Long snapper Joe Cardona is still dealing with an ankle injury and is doubtful to play. That puts Jake McQuaide in line to make his second straight start for the Rams.
The full injury report will be provided after practice Friday, at which point this story will be updated.
