Weston-super-Mare AFC confirm Dom Bernard signing

Bernard warmed up with the squad and took in our Isuzu FA Trophy win over Chippenham Town on Saturday (November 15).

The 28-year-old has extensive experience in the Football League & National League with the likes of Aldershot Town, Forest Green Rovers & Yeovil Town.

Before his experience in senior football, Dom came through the Academy at Birmingham City.

Capable of filling in anywhere across the back line, Dom has made 66 appearances in the National League and 158 games in the Football League.

Manager Scott Rogers said: "Dom is a very athletic, versatile defender and we’re really pleased he’s decided to join us.

“He’s a great age at 28 and we’re looking forward to seeing him put in a lot of big performances for Weston."
He will wear the number three shirt during the season for the Seagulls.
