While Johan Manzambi might have only just arrived at Villa Park, the Swiss starlet is reportedly already attracting plenty of heavyweight European interest.

Immediately taking to life in the Premier League and quickly becoming a smash hit for Aston Villa, TEAMtalk are reporting that both Barcelona and Bayern Munich are closely monitoring the 21-year-old sensation.

Completing a club record £50million move to the reigning Europa League champions back in July, Manzambi has rightfully received a string of public plaudits and is already being billed as one of the signings of the summer.

Widely regarded as one of Europe’s hottest midfield talents, the 20-cap international bagged the winner for Aston Villa during their 1-0 victory away at Newcastle on Saturday evening and has become a key figure in Unai Emery’s attack.

Forming a budding partnership with fellow new recruit and former Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, Manzambi finds his stock at a red-hot high and is reportedly on the radar of two of Europe’s biggest clubs.

However, while TEAMtalk might be suggesting that both Barca and Bayern are keeping close tabs on Villa’s new midfield talisman, Manzambi is only a matter of months into a reported five-year deal in the Midlands.

Along with opening his Champions League account during Villa’s record-breaking 6-0 romp against Turkish icons Fenerbahce last week, the Swiss playmaker has found the net in three of his previous four appearances for club and country.
