AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim has named his starting line-up for the game against Udinese, with an injury-hit squad at his disposal.
The 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Thursday means that Milan are in need of a bounce-back result in Udine this evening, but it will not be straightforward given the sheer amount of absences.
On the eve of the game, it was confirmed by Milan that the key players Mario Gila, Adrien Rabiot and Diego Moreira will all miss out on the action at Stadio Friuli. They join Matteo Gabbia, Alexis Saelemaekers and Samuel Chukwueze in the treatment room.
Amorim’s choices in certain areas are forced. He has gone with a four-man defence of Fikayo Tomori, Koni De Winter, Strahinja Pavlovic and Sankhoun Diawara ahead of the captain Mike Maignan, eager to make up for his silly sending off in midweek.
The midfield looks like a four on paper with Ardon Jashari and Luka Modric flanked by Omari Hutchinson and Davide Bartesaghi. Christian Pulisic is expected to act behind Goncalo Ramos, the centre-forward.
Due to the aforementioned absences, the bench looks a lot lighter thing evening. The coach only really has Alphadjo Cisse and Francesco Camarda as options to change this in attack, for example. Five Milan Futuro players have been called up to help with the numbers.
