F1's triple header continues to take its toll on the paddock, with another driver feeling unwell at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Colton Herta was once again in the car for Cadillac in FP1 in Sao Paulo, replacing Sergio Perez for the session and picking up a valuable point that now means he has qualified for an FIA Super License.

That makes him eligible to race in F1 next season, with a seat alongside the man he replaced in Sao Paulo still up for grabs.

Unfortunately, Herta was unable to discuss his plans for 2027 and his Super License achievement after the session, with Cadillac confirming that he was feeling unwell on Friday.

"Colton Herta is feeling unwell and will therefore be unable to attend his mandatory media commitments following FP2 today," confirmed Cadillac.

"As a result, all of his scheduled media activities have been cancelled."

Herta is the second F1 driver to miss obligations at or ahead of this weekend's event, with Aston Martin star Lance Stroll also missing media day on Thursday due to suffering with an illness.

In Mexico City last weekend, both Cadillac drivers Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez also reported being ill at different stages of the event, as did Mercedes star Kimi Antonelli ahead of going on to wrap up the F1 championship.

Fortunately, Herta has plenty of time to recover, with the American driver only in the car for FP1 in Sao Paulo.

For any of the other F1 stars feeling under the weather, Brazil does at least mark the end of the current triple header, with a week off before heading back to the United States for the Las Vegas Grand Prix (Nov 20-22).
