There was plenty to celebrate, with multiple award winners and winners with multiple awards.
In the men’s first team, Lloyd Beals claimed a quadruple as he picked up the first XI most wickets (37) and best bowling performance trophies for his 8-19 on the opening day at Marnhull.
Beals also snaffled the first XI players’ player of the season gong and later lifted the John Cake Memorial award for his exceptional contribution to the club with the youth section.
Beals will also go on to collect the top wicket-taker trophy for Premier Two at the league awards later this year.
Jack Sapsworth’s stunning unbeaten 158 at Marnhull bagged him best batting performance, while Dean Janaway’s 340 runs earned him the top run scorer accolade.
Graham Puckett also picked up multiple awards, with his haul of 16 wickets earning him second-team top wicket-taker.
Weymouth recognised Puckett’s outstanding longevity over the past few years as he was commemorated for being available for every game since the 2025 season began.
Fellow second-team player and vice-captain Jack Taylor was top run scorer with 409 and was voted second-team player of the season, capping an excellent 2026 for the all-rounder.
In the third team, Ricky Limm snared 13 wickets to claim top wicket-taker, while Andy Jeffreys with 228 runs was the leading run scorer.
Teenage talent Mirwais Sulimankhil was voted third-team player of the season after taking eight wickets in his maiden senior campaign.
Weymouth Ladies shared their awards around as Cassie Wood claimed the most wickets, while Sarah Smith took home the top run scorer trophy.
And Mary Potts was named women’s player of the season for another consistent year of impressive performances.
Men’s Evening League player of the season went to overseas star Jethro Cox after he plundered 433 runs including a superb 122 not out against Beaminster.
Dexter Limm was also the recipient of the club's young player of the year award.
Finally, second-team skipper Mark Gregory was named clubman of the year for his services across a variety of different roles.
Club chairman and first-team captain Cube Whyte said: “Presentation night was a great way to celebrate another successful season for Weymouth CC.
“Not only celebrating the excellent on-field achievements of individuals but also the hard work of our many volunteers off the field.
“It’s the off-field work that I’m really proud of as chairman and can’t thank those people enough.
“We had a great turnout from all areas of the club, showing the outstanding club culture we have built here.
“I’d like to thank local band From The Vault for providing the music.
“Also, a big thanks to Mark Gregory, Lucy Wood and Jack Sapsworth for organising the event. It was a great way to sign off the 2026 season.
“We can now start the hard work for the 2027 season – after a few days to clear our heads, of course!”
