Brendan Rodgers has spoken publicly following confirmation of his upcoming Glasgow return, with the former Celtic manager now focused on life in Saudi Arabia with Al-Qadsiah.
The former Hoops boss has yet to fully address the fallout from his Parkhead departure in detail, which is why interest in the event has already been high.
But for now, Rodgers’ attention is firmly on Al-Qadsiah, who are sitting top of the Saudi Pro League after a strong start to the season.
His side are in action tomorrow away to Al-Taawoun before a huge league clash with Al-Hilal on Friday. Al-Qadsiah then face Al Sadd in the AFC Champions League on Monday.

Rodgers has been speaking through official Al-Qadsiah channels about the club’s move to the new Aramco Stadium, and he sounded excited about leading his team there.
Speaking to Al-Qadsiah, Rodgers said: “First impression was wow.
“I think when you drive up to the stadium and you see the vastness of actually how big it is, and this is my first time here, and then coming off the coach you walk in through the reception area and it’s really a spectacular stadium.
“It really sets apart the football club when you can come to somewhere like this here.
“Then just walking out onto the field, and 47,000, it’s just an incredible piece of structure and a brilliant, brilliant stadium.”
Rodgers also spoke about the scale of the project and what it means for Al-Qadsiah.
He said: “Well, I think firstly it brings pride to have a stadium of this magnitude.
“Right the way through Saudi Arabia, people will be so impressed.
“But to actually have it here and be our home, it fills you firstly with great pride.”
The timing will not go unnoticed by Celtic supporters.
The event will offer fans the chance to hear from him directly after one of the most debated managerial exits in recent Celtic history.
He added on Al-Qadsiah: “It’s going to be a huge privilege to be here to manage the team, and that first game to walk out, it will be really special.
“So I cannot wait.”
Rodgers’ next test comes quickly, with Al-Qadsiah top of the Saudi Pro League on 22 points from nine games, one point ahead of Al-Hilal.
The Glasgow questions can wait.
Rodgers, for the time being, is trying to keep Al-Qadsiah out in front as quickly and convincingly as possible.
