Micah Parsons is yet to play for the Green Bay Packers this season following the serious knee injury he sustained last year and his return may not be as close as some would hope.
The Packers’ star defender has not played since December after tearing his ACL in their game against the Denver Broncos. There was some optimism that Parsons would have made it back in time for this weekend’s game against his former team, the Dallas Cowboys, but that does not seem to be the case.
The 49ers and Vikings also hold a perfect record.

Green Bay have three games remaining before the end of the month with a quick turnaround to face the Detroit Lions next weekend and then the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football. However, a return for Parsons may have to wait following an update from his father on social media.
The Packers do not have their Bye Week until Week 11 which is still a fair way off. With Parsons not expected to play on Sunday night against the Cowboys, his father has now shut down the possibility of him playing next weekend against the Lions.
A Packers fan posted about Parsons returning for their game against their NFC North rivals, the Lions, Terrence Parsons Jr. replied: “H*** nah”.

After a shaky start to the season, Matt LaFleur’s team have been able to put some wins on the board to drag their record to 3-2 ahead of the game against the Cowboys. The NFC North remains one of the most competitive in the league and Parsons’ return cannot come soon enough for Green Bay.
Before the Packers enjoy their Bye Week, they still have to play: the Lions, the Panthers, the New England Patriots, and the Minnesota Vikings. There are certainly some big opportunities to put some further wins on the board for the Packers and having Parsons back on the field would be a huge boost.
