According to veteran reporter Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 in Houston, former Cincinnati Bengals defensive lineman Jay Tufele was among the players hosted by the Kansas City Chiefs for a workout on November 4.
Tufele began his professional career as a fourth-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2021 NFL Draft and played for Cincinnati from 2022 until 2024. He would go on to take the field for the New York Jets last season and signed with the Detroit Lions earlier this year before finding himself cut by the Michigan-based franchise on July 28.
Take a look at Wilson's initial report of Tufele's workout with the Chiefs, which he announced in a post to his official Twitter account:
While no signing seems imminent, Kansas City's front office is clearly interested in adding new talent ahead of the 2026 NFL trade deadline on November 10, and Tufele is among the players fans should monitor on the free-agent market as the regular season approaches its midpoint.
