The Cleveland Browns are looking to sweep for the first time since 1988 and their first regular season win in Pittsburgh since 2003 as they head on the road to take on the Steelers Sunday, looking for their sixth win in eight games to start the 2026 NFL season. They got a big boost on Saturday as veteran right tackle Tytus Howard cleared concussion protocol with no injury designation this week.
Howard didn't practice all week, and it was starting to look like the Browns were going to have to start Dawand Jones at right tackle against TJ Watt and the Steelers.
Jones has played in a couple of games this season, including last week when Howard left the game with a concussion, and has struggled mightily.
After struggling the first couple of games, Howard has been playing much better at right tackle, and the difference between having him or starting Jones is a big deal against a guy like Watt. Howard has also been more effective as a run blocker. After the Browns' running game got it going in Tennessee, they'll look to keep that momentum going and slow down the Steelers' pass rush.
