PSG are advancing in discussions with Desire Doue over a bumper new deal with the reigning European champions, according to a report from TEAMtalk.
Since completing a €50million switch to the French capital back in the summer of 2024, Doue has blossomed into one of Europe’s hottest young commodities and the 21-year-old has been a key factor in PSG’s charge to becoming back-to-back Champions League winners.
While TEAMtalk might be suggesting that Premier League giants such as Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea are all huge admirers of the French international, it appears that Doue is set to further pledge in his future to Luis Enrique’s side.
Although PSG might have eventually allowed Bradley Barcola to complete a record-breaking switch to Liverpool during the summer transfer window, PSG knocked back any potential approaches for the 19-cap international.
Watching both Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia suffer respective injury blows during PSG’s 4-2 Champions League victory against Barcelona last week, the former Rennes youngster is arguably now the most senior figure in Enrique’s attack.
Registering 11 direct goal contributions for club and country so far this season, Doue’s current deal in Paris runs until 2029.
However, receiving a string of plaudits from across the continent, the PSG hierarchy are desperate to tie down their budding attacking talisman and TEAMtalk are reporting that discussions over a new deal are advancing.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have seen their slim hopes of landing Desire Doue dealt a blow, with contract talks between the Paris Saint-Germain forward and the French champions progressing, @TEAMtalk understands.
