On Sunday morning we asked fans, which 11 players would you pick in the Newcastle United team v Crystal Palace?

Matthias Jaissle and his players looking to bounce back from consecutive defeats. Newcastle United losing to Coventry and Aston Villa.

The new Newcastle United Head Coach having now overseen four wins, two draws and three defeats in the opening two months of the season.

Today a 2pm kick-off away at Selhurst Park.

We just wanted to get a quick snapshot of what fans were thinking.

Which eleven players did you think Matthias Jaissle should select against Crystal Palace?

We put together a list of the 20 players who could potentially be selected for this game.

On Friday at his pre-match press conference, Matthias Jaissle gave a little more away than normal regarding injuries/fitness. Ewen Jaouen and Tino Livramento now the only Newcastle United players definitely ruled out of making today’s matchday squad.

Hopefully returning to today’s 20 man squad are Anthony Elanga and Jacob Ramsey, though Matthias Jaissle making clear it will be a place on the bench at best for the pair. Nico Gonzalez and Joelinton have made it back into the starting eleven since the international break and it appears the likes of Dan Burn, Amar Dedic and William Osula could now be in a position to start, if selected.

Matthias Jaissle though revealed that Matias Fernandez-Pardo is a doubt for this game due to illness.
