Joe Burrow was excited to help his teammate Orlando Brown Jr. after the offensive tackle asked the quarterback to tie his laces during the Cincinnati Bengals’ Week 5 win over the Miami Dolphins.
Brown, who is in his fourth season with the team, has formed a great relationship with Burrow, which is evident because of how highly they speak about each other.
The 30-year-old has been in the league for nine years and has not really seen his laces undone many times. The game against the Dolphins was likely only the second time it had happened to him, Brown revealed.
With the team needing to get ready for the snap, Brown needed help with his laces and asked Burrow, who gladly agreed.
Burrow is one of the best teammates in the NFL, and his teammates will certainly agree with that statement, especially Brown.
The offensive tackle spoke about why he needed help with his laces and what Burrow’s reaction was when he asked him for help.
“Once my uniform is on cleats, pants, jersey, shoulder pads- I can’t take anything off,” Offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. said on Inside the Pocket with Orlando Brown Jr. “And my shoes have probably come untied, I’m going to say, twice in my football career, right? I tap Joe like, ‘Hey, can you tie my shoes real quick?’ And he looked at me so excited. He was like, ‘Absolutely.’ He’s like literally just the most bro s*** ever. The most teammate s*** ever. He looked out for me. They didn’t come undone again.”
The help from Burrow certainly motivated Brown, as he was brilliant against the Dolphins, not allowing the QB to be sacked even once. Bengals won the game 31-24 and Burrow threw for 190 yards with a passer rating of 126.3.

The Bengals will be hoping the camaraderie between Burrow and his teammates helps the team register another win this week against the Baltimore Ravens. A win in this game would be a huge positive for the team, as it would help them climb up in the AFC North standings.
