Rising Ibrox prospect Kyle Glasgow, currently on loan at Alloa Athletic, was on target at Stirling Albion's Forthbank Stadium, with Lewis Stewart and Max Cameron also producing superb finishes as Stevie Smith's youngsters overturned a 3-2 first-leg deficit.
The Light Blues will now face Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar, who saw off Turkish side Goztepe, in the next round. Rangers host the first leg on November 25 before travelling to the Netherlands for the return on December 9.
Glasgow was delighted with the response, telling Rangers TV: "I'm absolutely buzzing for me and the lads. We were 3-2 down going into the night so we knew we needed a big performance and it was almost perfect. The first goal settled us down. You want to fly out the traps and we got that goal which was crucial because we could relax and find our rhythm."
The attacker was particularly pleased to see Rangers' frontline deliver when it mattered. He added: "As an attacking player you need to deliver and the front three all did that with us all getting on the scoresheet. We showed real desire. It's credit to Stevie and the coaching staff who prepared us really well. We have set the standard high and we know we need to deliver in the next round."
