7 Colts inactive v. Vikings, including Tyler Warren, Sauce Gardner

The Indianapolis Colts are listing seven players as inactive for the team's Week 7 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.

On game days, teams are permitted to have only 48 players active and available.

Colts vs. Vikings Week 7 inactives

  • LB CJ Allen

  • LB Bryce Boettcher

  • CB Sauce Gardner

  • WR Anthony Gould

  • QB Riley Leonard

  • G Dalton Tucker

  • TE Tyler Warren

Warren (groin) and Gardner (calf) were both ruled out on Friday. Neither player practiced during the week. Gardner suffered his calf injury last week against Tennessee, while this will be the second game that Warren has missed.

After Gardner exited last week's game, Cam Taylor-Britt took over at outside cornerback for him. Without Warren, Mo Alie-Cox, Drew Ogletree, and Will Mallory all shouldered snaps at the tight end position.

Allen (ankle) was downgraded from questionable to out on Saturday. He appeared on the Thursday injury report and then did not practice on Friday. Allen's role as a rookie has been minimal as the backup MIKE. Boettcher (groin) was questionable for this game after not practicing two days last week.

To boost the linebacker depth, Germaine Pratt was elevated from the practice squad. Jaylon Carlies and Akeem Davis-Gaither are still the presumed starters at linebacker, while Austin Ajiake could continue to be worked in.

Leonard and Tucker have been inactive for each game this season. Gould (concussion) was ruled out on Friday.
