Michael Carrick leaves Carrington with son Jacey
Michael Carrick spent just over three hours at the Manchester United training ground today before leaving Carrington at 5pm.
The 45-year-old arrived at 1.50pm to watch the Under-21s take on Hull City in a behind-closed-doors game at Carrington, before leaving with son Jacey, who is in the club's academy, three hours and 10 minutes later.
It remains unclear whether Carrick has been sacked by United after a dismal start to the season. They have won just two of the first 12 games of the season and are winless in eight, with back-to-back hammerings by Como in the Champions League and Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Director of football Jason Wilcox has also left Carrington, having arrived at the premises just before 9am this morning. Chief executive Omar Berrada was just 30 seconds behind Wilcox and also arrived before 9am.
Crisis talks have taken place during the day over Carrick's future, but the Old Trafford faithful made their feelings clear during the 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth. They sang Carrick's name, aimed abuse at Wilcox and Berrada and booed the players off.
When Carrick was asked if he expected to be sacked after losing to Bournemouth, he said: "I totally understand the situation. I'm not expecting anything in particular, to be honest.

"Carrying on as normal, and you know, I love this place. I'll always do what I feel is going to be best for the football club, whatever decision is made on anything, really. So that's kind of it. I'm not expecting anything either way.
"I take the responsibility. Of course, I take responsibility. I've said that, and I accept the responsibility. Whatever is going to happen results-wise, whether we win, we lose, draw, whatever happens through the whole football club, I'm in this position because I respect the position that I'm in, and the responsibility is mine. What else can I say, really, right now?"
