UFC 334 is down a fight after the withdrawal of a bantamweight fan favorite.

A heavyweight title bout between Ciryl Gane and Josh Hokit will headline in New York on November 14.

Kayla Harrison vs. Amanda Nunes will top a stacked undercard, which has just gotten a little bit weaker ahead of the UFC’s return to Madison Square Garden.

Adrian Yanez pulls out of UFC 334 fight

Adrian Yanez was supposed to face Juan Diaz during the preliminary portion of UFC 334.

On Saturday, it was reported that their fight was off due to an issue on the side of Yanez.

“Adrian Yanez is out of his scheduled fight at #UFC334 vs. Juan Diaz, per sources, Mick Heck of MMA Fighting tweeted.

“No replacement opponent yet for Diaz, but plan is for him to remain on the card. First rep @realkevink.”

An official announcement on the fight cancellation has yet to be made by the UFC, Yanez, or Diaz.

Who is fighting at UFC 334?

So far, 12 fights have been announced for the card headlined by Ciryl Gane‘s first heavyweight title defense.

Adrian Yanez’s departure from UFC 334 means an open slot must be filled to keep the event intact.
