Gordon (rest) won't play in Friday's preseason finale against the Lakers, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.
Gordon is being held out of Denver's final preseason game for maintenance purposes, but he should be fine for Thursday's regular-season opener in Oklahoma City. Trevon Brazile will start in Gordon's place Friday evening.
