Bears OG Jonah Jackson exits game with hip injury

The Bears' right guard exited Sunday's game against the Falcons early with a hip injury.

The Chicago Bears will likely need to finish off the Atlanta Falcons without guard Jonah Jackson. The stout right guard for the Bears exited in the third quarter with a hip injury and is officially doubtful to return.

Jackson was replaced by second-year lineman Luke Newman, who came in and helped contribute to a 7-play drive that went for 52 yards, culminating with a Roschon Johnson rushing touchdown.

Since the Bears have a short week coming up with a Thursday Night Football matchup against the New England Patriots, Jackson's status will be worth monitoring. Jackson is in his second season with the Bears after the team acquired him from the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for a sixth-round pick.
