Sam Darnold had no idea that he had thrown an interception on Monday Night Football while jogging off the field while the play was still ongoing.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback has struggled mightily this season, with fans calling for either Drew Lock or Jalen Milroe to play ahead of him - throwing his ninth interception of the season in just eight games.
As the Seahawks looked to try get back into the game in the fourth quarter, Darnold had a pass batted down with defensive lineman James Lynch catching it on the way down before returning it. The quarterback would have been in position to make the tackle, but continued running off the field.
