Joe Rogan will not be going to UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi — or anywhere else overseas.
That’s why the promotion has to find a new color commentator for every international event. I always preferred a two-man booth over the incessant yammering of a three-man squad and would be content with just Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier, but nobody at UFC (or anywhere else) gives a shit what I prefer.
Taking over for Rogan is retired UFC lightweight Paul Felder, according to MMA Junkie.
“The Irish Dragon,” who stepped away from competition after his “Fight of the Night” opposite Rafael dos Anjos atop UFC Vegas 14 in late 2020, is no stranger to broadcasting and can often be seen calling select “Fight Night” cards at the promotion’s Meta Apex facility and beyond.
Brendan Fitzgerald will join former UFC middleweight champion and retired UFC lightweight Din Thomas at the analyst desk with John Gooden handling backstage reporting, a role that is usually filled by Megan Olivi. As always, Bruce Buffer will be charged with fighter walkouts and official results.
UFC 333 will be headlined by the featherweight title fight pitting Alexander Volkanovski (c) against Movsar Evloev. In the UFC 333 co-main event, Petr Yan defends his bantamweight title in a rubber match against former 135-pound champion Merab Dvalishvili. The action gets underway this Sat. (Oct. 24, 2026) at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
