Ja’Marr Chase injury update latest provided by Ian Rapoport

Cincinnati Bengals fans can rest easy: There’s more confirmation that the small, developing Ja’Marr Chase injury ordeal isn’t a concern.

Chase missed the first practice of Week 8 with the team listing him as having an ankle injury and “rest.”

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport followed up the next morning with a report on the topic.

“This is not considered to be a major deal,” Rapoport said.

Essentially, the Bengals said through the injury report that Chase could have practiced despite an ankle injury, but that they chose to hold him out with a rest day.

We’ll see what the next two days of injury reports look like, but only Chase missing again would be cause for an uptick in concern. His Bengals play the 1-6 Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
