Weymouth Ladies 1s secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over Isca in an action-packed encounter.

Goals from Erin and Mia put the hosts in control, but they were forced to dig deep during a tense finale as Isca pushed for an equaliser.

The drama intensified in the closing stages, with goalkeeper Luce producing a string of crucial saves to preserve Weymouth's lead and claim player of the match honours.

There were also reasons to celebrate away from the scoreboard, with Poppy making her Ladies 1s debut and Iris marking her 16th birthday.

The club also wished Wendy a speedy recovery after she bravely took a ball to the face in the final 90 seconds.

Weymouth Ladies 2s suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat away to Taunton Vale despite leading at the interval.

Millie opened the scoring with a back-post finish after a well-worked short corner routine, giving Weymouth a deserved 1-0 half-time advantage.

However, the hosts hit back after the break with a scrappy equaliser before a swift counter-attack completed the turnaround.

A competitive second half also saw cards shown to players from both teams.

Izzy S was named player of the match after an impressive display in midfield.

Weymouth Men's 1s moved to the top of the table on goal difference with a dominant 8-1 victory over Southampton University 4s.

Angus opened the scoring before Jamie Bellingham and Archie Dewey added further goals to establish a commanding first-half lead.

Although the visitors pulled one back, Weymouth remained in control and went into the break 3-1 ahead.

The home side continued to dominate possession after half-time, with Tom Edwards and Sam Thompson influential in midfield.

Jamie and Archie both completed hat-tricks, including a well-worked short-corner goal, while Angus added his second of the afternoon to cap an emphatic win.

The result leaves Weymouth top of the league ahead of their next fixture against Salisbury on October 31.

Weymouth Men's 2s came from behind to clinch a dramatic 3-2 victory over New Forest and remain level on points at the top of the table.

The visitors opened the scoring inside five minutes and held their advantage until half-time.

Phil H levelled shortly after the restart, only for New Forest to regain the lead with a well-taken breakaway goal.

Young midfielder Danny Broadhead then played a key role in Weymouth's second equaliser, winning possession before a slick passing move ended with Dave Chubb converting in the circle.

With the scores level at 2-2 and Weymouth increasingly in control, the pressure mounted through a succession of short corners and near misses.

The breakthrough finally arrived on 67 minutes when captain Geoff received a pass on the penalty spot and swept the ball high into the net to spark celebrations.

It proved the winner as Weymouth held out for a hard-earned 3-2 success.

Danny Broadhead was named player of the match after an outstanding performance in midfield.
