All Blacks fans have delivered their verdict on the team to face Scotland, with several selection decisions sparking debate across social media.

Dave Rennie's side head to Murrayfield on Saturday looking to extend New Zealand's unbeaten Test record against Scotland.

However, the absence of Ethan Blackadder, Leicester Fainga'anuku and Fehi Fineanganofo from the matchday 23 has left some supporters questioning the selections.

Others have welcomed the powerful starting XV, which features all three Barrett brothers.

“What’s he got to do?” – Fans question All Blacks selection

"What must Blackadder do more to get selected"

That was the question from Facebook user Sibusiso Tait after Ethan Blackadder was left out of the matchday squad.

Blackadder was named in New Zealand's wider touring squad but missed out on a place against Scotland.

The decision has raised questions among supporters, particularly with Anton Segner and Christian Lio-Willie named among the replacements.

According to the official All Blacks team announcement, Rennie has made five changes to the matchday 23 that faced Australia in Sydney.

Ethan de Groot and Jordie Barrett return to the starting side, while Asafo Aumua, Lio-Willie and Segner join the bench.

Leicester Fainga'anuku's omission also raised eyebrows.

Facebook user Conradie Spec asked: "Where is Leicester"

Fehi Fineanganofo's absence attracted attention too.

Instagram user mitchellandersonmusic wrote: "Would've loved to seen Fehi be given a run."

All three players were included in New Zealand's 36-man touring squad, but have missed out on the Scotland Test.

“Fully loaded AB's” – Supporters back the selection

Despite the questions, plenty of supporters were delighted with the strength of New Zealand's team.

Instagram user mdrohara declared: "Fully loaded AB’s 🖤"

Another fan, tevita.kataa, was particularly excited about the three Barrett brothers starting together.

"Mannnn 3 Barrett Brothers is all i need 😤 AB by 17+ 🔥"

The selection also sees Damian McKenzie start at fly-half, with Beauden Barrett at full-back.

The number 10 position has been a major talking point, with Dan Carter's recent comments raising questions over McKenzie's All Blacks future.

Facebook user Finian Tully was impressed by the overall selection.

"Solid as, I really like that including the bench. Lets go lads, maintain that Murryfield record."

Emotional tribute ahead of Scotland clash

There was also an emotional response following the death of All Blacks security chief Logan Cadwallader.

Cadwallader died in Edinburgh earlier this week, leaving the New Zealand squad mourning his loss ahead of their opening November Test.

The All Blacks have confirmed they will wear black armbands in his memory against Scotland.

They will also wear their white jerseys featuring a poppy to mark Armistice Day.

Instagram user b3njiheaven4 wrote: "Will be thinking of the squad this weekend Go out there and make him proud boys 🖤🖤🖤 🇳🇿"

Several other supporters shared messages using the hashtag #4Caddy.
