Oldham halted their worrying slide down the table with a much-needed 4-1 home win against Cheltenham - their first victory in seven league games.
Micky Mellon's side, who had scored only one goal in their previous four league matches, found the net three times in the opening 41 minutes.
Calum Kavanagh opened the scoring in the 19th minute, turning in Favour Fawunwi's shot which was going wide for his fifth goal of the season.
They doubled the lead in the 25th minute when Jamie Robson headed home at the far post from Fawunmi's corner, the left-back's first goal for the club.
Stoke loanee Fawunmi was then put through by Kavanagh in the 41st minute and netted his second goal for the club.
Cheltenham pulled one back in first-half stoppage time when Freddy Willcox fired home from a corner for his first senior goal.
However, Robson scored Oldham's fourth goal in the 81st minute with a low drive into the bottom far corner.
