Ravens get Ja’Kobi Lane back as rookie is active against Browns

Ja’Kobi Lane is active for Sunday’s game against the Browns, giving the Ravens another receiving option as Tyler Huntley makes his second consecutive start. Baltimore activated Lane from injured reserve Saturday after the rookie missed four games with a wrist injury suffered in the season opener at Indianapolis. He fully participated in practice throughout the week before returning to the active roster.

Lane impressed during training camp and the preseason, creating expectations that he could contribute early in his rookie season. Sunday’s game gives him an opportunity to resume that work after the injury interrupted his debut.

The Ravens have not announced Lane's snap count. His size and ability to compete for contested catches could help Huntley, particularly with rookie tight end Matthew Hibner sidelined by a hand injury.

With Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman also available, Baltimore has its leading receivers ready for its first AFC North matchup. Lamar Jackson remains out with an ankle injury.
