The Buffalo Bills will continue their 2026 NFL regular season on Sunday with their next game en route against the Baltimore Ravens. Kickoff back at home confides of Highmark Stadium will take place at 1 p.m.
The Ravens head to western New York in dire need of a win. Despite a 4-3 record, Baltimore sits in the basement of the AFC North having lost back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, the Bills are fresh and reset after taking in their bye a week ago.
Between two such teams, what should you keep in mind during the contest?
With that, here are Bills Wire's five things to watch for in Week 8:
After Buffalo took in their bye last week, how do the Bills look against the Ravens? It's a legitimate question as this is the first season the team has a game after a week off under the watch of head coach Joe Brady.
Former head coach Sean McDermott was a perfect 9-0 after the bye. One area the Bills will hope Brady reflects McDermott is after a bye, but that's easier said than done.
The starting quarterback for the Ravens, Lamar Jackson, has dealt with an ankle injury in recent weeks. After practicing in full this week, it appears Jackson will play.
Even so, are there any lingers problems Jackson shows against the Bills? Baltimore has taken their time getting Jackson back out on the field as he has only played in four games this season, but it's possible.
Safety Damar Hamlin is likely going to play against the Ravens. He is going to replace CJ Gardner-Johnson, who was suspended by the NFL one game prior to the bye week.
Hamlin has been in this spotlight before. Can he step up again for the Bills? Hamlin has 18 tackles so far in 2026.
Jackson gets a lot of the eyes and headline as the Ravens' No. 1 quarterback. However, running back Derrick Henry has been a nightmare for the Bills over the years.
Buffalo has managed to slow him down a time or two in the past. Henry still has 11 touchdowns in seven career games against the Bills. Since joining the Ravens, Henry has four touchdowns and and 368 rushing yards in just two games against the Bills.
It could be another long day for Buffalo's defense.
The Bills and Ravens have played many times over the years, both in the postseason and regular season. These are two staples of the AFC.
It's hard to look past the last time these two met, which was Week 1 of last year. It was ridiculous shootout and a game the Bills won in a 41-40 final.
Could an explosive game be en route again?
