The 17-year-old joined the Scottish club from Cliftonville after making three first-team appearances under amateur terms.

The centre-back is now in Glasgow and has already played five times for Celtic B. Celtic confirmed he has signed a three-year deal.

A club statement said: "We are delighted to confirm that Shea McGarry has signed his first professional terms with Celtic!"

The deal follows his move to Glasgow, where he has continued his development with the club's reserve side.
