New footage shows an unexpected contender for Knockout of the Night at UFC Edmonton.
Mike Malott KO’d Joaquin Buckley with a knee to win the main event and bag a $100,000 performance bonus on Saturday night.
Six undercard fighters also scored knockout wins, but a police officer on duty at UFC Edmonton may have outdone them all.
After knocking out Joaquin Buckley at UFC Edmonton to score his fifth straight knockout, is Mike Malott a serious contender at 170lb?
Viral footage shows a huge brawl broke out in the crowd at Rogers Place in Alberta, Canada.
Cops swarmed in to break it up and weren’t afraid to use force to get the job done.
One police officer pulled his taser out before a colleague took matters into his own hands.
At this point, the misbehaving fan is picked up and ruthlessly bodyslammed to the floor.
It quickly becomes clear that the cop has rendered his perp completely unconscious at UFC Edmonton.
Still, he continued to shout at the man to roll over onto his stomach, which he obviously couldn’t do.
The video ends with the police officer getting ready to put cuffs on the fan as he lies on the floor out cold.

“One hell of a suplex by that cop,” one fan said. While another added: “Super risky way to take someone down. Cops need more training.”
“Get him on the Contender Series,” a third person joked.
“Stupid f—ing pig. Completely unnecessary,” someone else commented.
“Was that a fighter in disguise? Someone call Dana White,” another X user wrote.
