Jets RB Breece Hall Reveals His Injury Status for Week 9
Caleb Williams Lands On Cover Of Madden NFL 27

New York Jets running back Breece Hall has missed each of his team's last five games since suffering a quadriceps injury in Week 3.

But as the Jets gear up for their Week 9 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, Hall is preparing for his return to the field.

After practice on Thursday, Hall told reporters that he's "ready to go" for Sunday's difficult matchup against the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, via team insider Rich Cimini of ESPN.

With Hall out, backup RB Braelon Allen has stepped up as a strong offensive weapon for the Jets. Last week, he had a career-high 147 yards and a touchdown against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Hall was asked about his playing-time expectations for Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs.

"[I'm] still a starter, still a very good running back in this league," Hall said. "Obviously, Braelon's been playing good. I think him and the O-line and the offense have caught their stride after the first 3-4 games."

Hall opened the year with 102 rushing yards and a touchdown in a Week 1 win over the Tennessee Titans. But over his next two games, he failed to exceed 32 rushing yards. He did however continue his role as a solid receiving weapon out of the backfield, reeling in 10 catches for 102 yards over his first three games of the year.
