AC Milan are expected to name several changes to their starting XI against Atalanta, after they dismantled Salzburg in midweek.
Changes were expected at the weekend, especially with Bournemouth in the Europa League next week. However, it seems Ruben Amorim will name a pretty full-strength starting XI against the Nerazzurri.
This evening, MilanNews have given an update on what the starting XI could look like against Atalanta and Amorim is expected to make several changes.
In defence, the only change comes with Mario Gila returning to the back three alongside Koni De Winter and Strahinja Pavlovic. Of course, Mike Maignan will retain his spot in goal as the captain.
The midfield, though, has seen a complete turnover. Samuel Chukwueze and Diego Moreira are given starts on the flanks, whilst Yunus Musah and Luka Modric will return as a pair in the centre of the park.
Adrien Rabiot has not been dropped, with Amorim instead preferring to play him in an attacking midfield role with Alphadjo Cisse. Then, Goncalo Ramos returns to lead the line.
It’s certainly a strong starting XI, with Amorim keen to get three points at San Siro.
Predicted Milan XI (3-4-2-1): Maignan; Gila, De Winter, Pavlovic; Chukwueze, Musah, Modric, Moreira; Rabiot, Cisse; Ramos.
