Thousands of boxing fans scrambled to secure a spot at the biggest fight of the year earlier this month. The dust may have settled since Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua tickets went on sale, but interest remains high ahead of the December 11 bout.
With almost six months to go until the event at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, there are still plenty of tickets available through several official channels. Fans can still book both general admission and VIP hospitality packages for the fight.
Some have even fallen in price since they went on sale on October 9, with select tickets now almost £3,000 cheaper. These are available to book now at Seat Unique, the official hospitality partner of the event, with a range of seats located in the Principality’s upper tier right down to ringside.
While it may not be as well-known as brands like Ticketmaster, all packages available through Seat Unique are 100% official. It also provides extra perks like complimentary food and drink and access to exclusive lounge areas at the venue.
Seat Unique hasn’t officially announced any price drops, but we’ve compared today’s prices to those when tickets went on sale and found some are almost £3,000 cheaper. The most affordable tickets haven’t changed since October 9, with ‘premium’ upper-tier seats still starting at £249 per person.
This also includes complimentary food and drink, including prosecco or a selected cocktail on arrival, plus access to a VIP area at The Botanist Restaurant and Bar near the stadium. The same perks are available with middle-tier seats from £399 or lower-tier seats from £549.
When tickets went on sale earlier this month, those lower-tier seats started at £599, but the biggest price drop we’ve spotted is available with more luxurious packages that include a three-course meal, including drinks at The Ivy restaurant near the stadium. On launch day, Seat Unique’s Front 15 Rows – Inner Ringside package was listed at £7,995.
Fans can now secure a seat in the front 15 rows from £4,999, a difference of £2,996 compared to the original price. There are also a small number of Front Row – Inner Ringside tickets up for grabs at £17,995, which provides a ringside seat in Block D, Row A.
Alongside some of the best views in the stadium, each Front Row package includes a VIP chauffeur to drive fans to the fight, as well as a complimentary three-course menu and drinks. An ‘exclusive gift’, VIP commemorative lanyard and commemorative ticket are also included at no extra cost.
Those booking for groups could go for a Private Box for 12-16 guests from £3,199 per person. Seat Unique has also removed any extra booking fees, saving customers a little more on the price of each ticket.
However, a caveat is that guests must be aged 18 or over to access the hospitality areas included with each package.
Just bear in mind that these are general admission tickets with no complimentary benefits.
Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.
Many listings are selling fast, though, with viagogo warning that select blocks only have between one and three tickets still available. With secondary sites like viagogo, it’s worth noting that some tickets may be listed at more than face value, but they could either decrease or increase with demand as the fight nears.
