The Blues sit tenth in the league after their first seven games, with nine points thus far and some generally impressive displays.
They're defying pre-season predictions which saw them tipped to be immediately relegated back to the Championship.
And the analyst team at Opta - the stats-bible for football - believe they'll continue to exceed expectations.
Their latest predicted Premier League table for the current season has Town finishing in the lofty heights of 14th, well clear of the drop zone.
Indeed, they are predicted to finish above both fellow newly-promoted sides Hull City and Coventry City, plus the likes of Crystal Palace and Friday's foes Nottingham Forest.
Opta believe that Coventry, Fulham and Sunderland will be relegated, with Arsenal retaining their Premier League crown just ahead of Manchester City - who face a huge punishment for financial breaches, yet to be determined.
