Ruben Amorim has an idea regarding the starting XI that will face RB Salzburg, and rotation seems to be the order of the evening.
According to what Sky (via MilanNews) are reporting this afternoon, the clues from the morning session at Milanello on the eve of the game suggest that Amorim plans to give some rest to the ‘regular’ starters.
Mario Gila, Adrien Rabiot, Diego Moreira, Christian Pulisic and Gonçalo Ramos are all expected to begin the game on the bench. In defence, a first appearance will be given to Fikayo Tomori at right-back. In attack, Francesco Camarda will get his first start of the campaign too.
Ahead of Mike Maignan, the Rossoneri’s back four will be completed by Koni De Winter and Strahinja Pavlovic in the middle, and Davide Bartesaghi at left-back. The Serbian has just put pen to paper on a new long-term deal, and will be returning to face his old club.
Luka Modric and Ardon Jashari are expected to be the double pivot in midfield. The three attacking midfielders behind Camarda will be Omari Hutchinson, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Alphadjo Cisse, the broadcaster concludes.
Predicted Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic, Bartesaghi; Modric, Jashari; Hutchinson, Loftus-Cheek, Cisse; Camarda.
