The United legend said it's 'so frustrating to watch' the squad play

Wayne Rooney has slammed Manchester United's players after Michael Carrick was confirmed to take charge of the Red Devils in their next game against Chelsea.
The United boss was spotted arriving at training this morning, followed by technical director Jason Wilcox and CEO Omar Berrada.
Rooney feels the squad is a "million miles away" from competing at the level to challenge for a Premier League title again.
He said: "It is at best a mid-table team, but if you look at all the mid-table teams, what do they get?
"They get players working hard, running, tackling and I keep saying it, going back to the basics. These (United) players think they are better than what they are.
"Unfortunately, what happened when Michael Carrick came in at the start is that it has given the players and the board false hope that they are good enough.
