The Miami Dolphins started the season with an 0-5 record through their first five games, which essentially ends their chances of making the playoffs, as no team has ever gone winless through the first five weeks and made the postseason.
With that in mind, Dolphins fans are focusing on the growth of their current players on the roster and who the team might be able to take in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Entering Week 6, Miami had the week off, but they were tied for the worst record in the NFL with two other teams that were playing this weekend. And while the Los Angeles Chargers dropped to 0-6 after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs 22-6, the Tennessee Titans earned their first win of the year, beating the Indianapolis Colts 26-20.
Now, heading into Week 7, the Dolphins and Chargers are the only teams left without a win. Los Angeles currently holds the top pick in next year's draft because they've played one more game than Miami.
However, the Chargers have a more talented roster, even with all of their injuries, than the Dolphins, so it's more likely that Los Angeles will finish the season with more wins than Miami. We're still a long way from the end of the season, but Dolphins fans got this small win while their team was off.
