The UCLA football team kept rolling in the Big Ten Conference with a 28-10 win against Michigan State on Saturday afternoon at the Rose Bowl.
Following the No. 7 Bruins' (7-0, 5-0 Big Ten) victory, Spartans senior edge rusher Kenny Soares Jr. spoke about what it was like to battle against the running backs who reside in Westwood. Among those running backs is UCLA star Wayne Knight, who scored in his seventh-straight game to begin his UCLA tenure in Week 8.
“Great running backs. I've known Wayne (Knight) for a while now, from back to high school. He has always been a great back and forth, and I’ve always been keeping up with his journey as well," Soares Jr. explained. "They have a great spot, and obviously, they're ranked top 10 in the country. We just got to be able to, you know, continue to worry about us and, you know, just a hard process and be able to go back to the drawing board and just prepare ourselves.”
UCLA hosts Nevada (3-4) in non-conference action at 1:15 p.m. Saturday as the Bruins looks to remain unbeaten in the 2026 season.
