Former AEW star Max Caster praises Tony Khan for financially supporting wrestlers.
Max Caster was with All Elite Wrestling from November 2020 to October 2026. During his time with the promotion, he won the AEW World Tag Team Championship with his “The Acclaimed” partner Anthony Bowens. He also captured the World Trios Title with Bowens and Billy Gunn.
During a virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest, Max Caster praised All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan for financially supporting many pro wrestlers. He also said he’s still living off AEW money even after departing the promotion.
“Here’s one for the dirt sheets. I always gotta shout out Tony Khan because he’s supporting a lot of wrestlers living right now, including me. I’m still living off AEW money. So that’s a guy who, for whatever reason in his heart, is supporting wrestling and supporting wrestlers,” Max Caster said.
After leaving AEW, Max Caster debuted for TNA Wrestling at the Bound for Glory pay-per-view earlier this month and competed against Moose. However, as he was making his signature rap entrance, he delivered an unapproved line referencing the recent attacks in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The promotion had to issue a public apology and sever ties with Caster after the public outrage over the segment.
After his TNA run ended after just one night, Max Caster apologized for his actions, but clarified he didn’t intend to offend anyone with the rap. He later announced that he’s stepping away from pro-wrestling “for a long time.” He said he’d undergo therapy and get things right the next time he returns to the ring.
