New WWE rivalry to begin soon: Three feuds set to kick off across Raw & SmackDown

The road to WWE Crown Jewel is often when feuds are put on pause for the world champions of Raw and SmackDown, as the Men’s and Women’s Crown Jewel Title matches take precedent.

This year however, even the likes of Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn have had to juggle their feuds with 946 and Trick Williams respectively whilst building to their match on November 7, and there are, in general, a lot of rivalries to keep track of across WWE programming right now.

That’s not to say more new programs may not soon launch however, here are four new feuds we could soon see begin on Raw and SmackDown:

Trick Williams vs. Damian Priest

This Friday, on the October 30 episode of WWE SmackDown, Trick Williams will get the biggest opportunity of his career thus far when he challenges Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Given that the match is happening one week before Zayn is due to meet Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel, few fans will be expecting “Trick Willy” to pull off the win here despite his strong booking since arriving on SmackDown.

While Sami Zayn’s “Ride or Dies” Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae may have a hand in the outcome of the match, there is another WWE star who could potentially get involved: Damian Priest.

Priest was shown looking rather displeased after Trick Williams announced that he had been given an Undisputed WWE Title match during a backstage segment on SmackDown, so this could be a tease of a new feud between the pair, perhaps for Williams’ United States Championship.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Chelsea Green

Most fans immediately knew what direction WWE were going in as soon as they booked Tiffany Stratton to win this year’s women’s Money in the Bank briefcase: betraying Chelsea Green and cashing-in to take her WWE Women’s Championship.

So far WWE have been doing their best to convince everyone that Stratton instead has eyes for Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Title, an act that is only going to go so far.

With Morgan and Green facing off at Crown Jewel, WWE has the perfect opportunity to pull off this “swerve” by having Stratton appear as if she’s going to cash-in on Morgan, either during or after their match, only to turn around and take out Green instead.

This will then turn Stratton heel and lead to a full-blown rivalry between the two former friends heading towards the end of the year.

Naomi vs. Jaida Parker

The war between The 946 and The Bloodline is currently dominating WWE, with the majority of the closing moments of Raw over the past two months seeing new developments in the story.

Perhaps the most shocking ending of the bunch came on the September 28 episode, when Jacob Fatu was run over by The 946’s first female member: Jaida Parker.

Parker’s inclusion in the storyline immediately had fans speculating about The Bloodline bringing in their own first female member to even the odds, with Naomi being the obvious candidate to step into that role.

While there have been conflicting reports regarding Naomi returning to WWE imminently, it feels like as long as her return comes at some point over the next few months, there should still be enough gas in the 946 vs. Bloodline tank for a proper feud between her and “Ms. Parker.”
