Bayern Munich has a massive Bundesliga test ahead of them as they welcome RB Leipzig to the Allianz Arena. Vincent Kompany’s side will be eager to respond after the frustrating draw against Viking FK, and there is no shortage of candidates who could step up and deliver a match-winning performance.

But who will earn the coveted Meister of the Match honor? Hereareseven Bayern players who could make the difference against Leipzig:

  • Harry Kane: When Bayern Munich needs goals, Kane is always one of the first names that comes to mind. His finishing, movement, and ability to link up with teammates make him a nightmare for opposing defenders. If Leipzig leaves even a little space in their defensive line, Kane will be ready to punish them.
  • Michael Olise: The Frenchman has the creativity and technical quality to unlock even the most stubborn defenses. His ability to beat defenders, deliver dangerous passes, and create chances out of seemingly nothing could prove crucial against Leipzig. A moment of individual brilliance from Olise might be all Bayern Munich needs. Plus, he won’t have to worry about saving anything in the tank for Arsenal next week.
  • Luis Díaz: Bayern Munich’s Colombian winger brings relentless energy, direct running, and a willingness to take defenders on. Díaz can stretch Leipzig’s defense, create opportunities in transition, and contribute goals himself. His intensity could also help Bayern maintain the aggressive approach Kompany wants to see. Can he fully break out of his funk?
  • Joshua Kimmich: Bayern Munich will need leadership and control in the middle of the pitch, and Kimmich can provide both. His passing range, tactical awareness, and ability to switch play could help Bayern move Leipzig around and create openings. He also has the experience to manage the difficult moments of a high-stakes Bundesliga contest.
  • Konrad Laimer: Few players embody Kompany’s demands for energy and intensity quite like Laimer. His pressing, work rate, and willingness to cover ground can disrupt Leipzig’s buildup and help Bayern win possession in dangerous areas. His versatility could also prove valuable against his former club.
  • Alphonso Davies: Davies has the pace to transform Bayern’s attack from defense to offense in an instant. His overlapping runs could stretch Leipzig’s defensive shape, while his recovery speed will be important if the visitors threaten on the counterattack. If he finds space down the left, Bayern could have a dangerous weapon at their disposal.
  • Jonas Urbig: If Manuel Neuer is unavailable, Urbig could have an opportunity to make his mark between the posts. The young goalkeeper would face a significant test against Leipzig’s attacking threats, and a series of important saves could be just as valuable as a goal at the other end. A confident performance would also be another opportunity to demonstrate his potential as Bayern’s long-term No. 1.

There are plenty of ways for Bayern to win this game, whether through Kane’s finishing, Olise’s creativity, midfield control, or a crucial contribution from the defense or goalkeeper.
