For the second year in a row, the Pittsburgh Steelers will take the field for an NFL international game when they face the New Orleans Saints outside of Paris on Oct. 25.
It will be the first regular-season NFL game in France, one year after the Steelers played in the first regular-season game in Ireland. They defeated the Minnesota Vikings 24-21 last September at Croke Park in Dublin.
Before that, the Steelers hadn't played an international game since 2013, when they lost to the same Vikings team at Wembley Stadium in London.
First-year coach Mike McCarthy’s team enters action as a winner of three of its past four games. Pittsburgh is tied with division rivals Baltimore and Cleveland for the AFC North division lead at 4-2.
The Saints, meanwhile, are on the opposite end of the spectrum at 2-4 but come off an impressive win over the New York Giants, in which they rushed for 175 yards as a team. They’ll appear in their first international game since 2022 and their first game abroad outside of London.
The game will unfold amid tensions across France, where disruptive protests have been ongoing in recent weeks. The NFL has expressed confidence that its sites for the weekend are secure, and both teams have been briefed on the situation.
The Saints traveled to Paris immediately after their NFL Week 6 game against the Giants, while the Steelers made the journey on Thursday, opting for the quick in-country turnaround that they deployed in Dublin a year ago.
The Steelers and Saints game will air on linear TV, but not on the broadcast networks that fans are accustomed to through most of the season. Instead, the game can be found on cable on the NFL Network and on the NFL+ companion streaming platform.
The game kicks off bright and early for fans in the United States at 9:30 a.m. ET. ET start. It will be the only NFL game in its viewing window before the league's normal afternoon action begins around 1 p.m.

Pittsburgh has started to establish an identity through its short passing game led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Over the past four games, the likely future Hall of Famer has thrown 11 touchdowns and just three interceptions. The leaky Saints defense will struggle to handle that momentum. They enter Week 7 ranked dead last in the NFL in scoring defense, allowing 29.7 points per game. The Steelers, by contrast, rank solidly in the top half. Their pass defense ranks seventh in the NFL, allowing just 204.3 passing yards per game. If the Saints can’t run the ball as they did against New York, that will put pressure on young quarterback Tyler Shough, a development the Steelers would likely welcome after rattling Tampa Bay rookie Jalon Daniels in their Week 6 road win.
