More NFL experts are picking the New Orleans Saints (1-4) to end their losing streak with a win on the road against the New York Giants (3-1-1) than you might think, but there's still plenty of skepticism surrounding Kellen Moore's team. There should be. The Saints have botched too many opportunities and embarrassed themselves with three consecutive home losses, and now they have to go on the road and find a way to win against one of the hotter teams in the NFL.
Here's how those in the know made their picks for Saints-Giants in Week 6:
Jarrett Bell: Giants
Nicholas Brinkerhoff: Giants
Chris Bumbaca: Saints
Nate Davis: Giants
Adam Kaufman: Giants
Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz: Giants
Matt Bowen: Giants
Mike Clay: Giants
Jeremy Fowler: Saints
Dan Graziano: Giants
Kayln Kahler: Saints
Pamela Maldonado: Giants
Eric Moody: Saints
Jason Reid: Giants
Ben Solak: Saints
Lindsey Thiry: Giants
Seth Wickersham: Giants
Jeremy Bergman: Giants
Brooke Cersosimo: Giants
Gennaro Filice: Giants
Bobby Kownack: Saints
Dan Parr: Giants
From Bergman:
If you like turnovers, boy, do I have a game for you. The skidding Saints are the only team in the league through five weeks with a point differential worse than -30 and turnover margin worse than -5. The first-place Giants are quarterbacked by a giveaway in human form in Jameis Winston. Let chaos reign. New York is undefeated since Winston took over as starter for the injured Jaxson Dart (2-0-1), with the QB doing just enough to avoid falling to its lowly opponents (Tennessee, Arizona, Washington were in the top seven of the 2026 draft). I have more faith this week that Winston will be able to move the ball against a struggling Saints defense than a banged-up Tyler Shough overcoming New York's pressure. Turnovers can swing this game in either direction, but I'll lean toward Big Blue building to a once-inconceivable 4-1-1 start.
