Conor Benn is more than open to the idea of him facing ‘The Notorious’.

Conor McGregor appears to be set on BKFC being his next destination once he wraps up his MMA career next year.

The Irishman only has one fight left on his current UFC deal, with him then being free to explore other options, of which there will surely be many.

Floyd Mayweather may believe that a McGregor rematch is possible, but there’s another boxing super fight that the biggest name in MMA has now been linked with.

Who would you pick for Conor McGregor to fight in his BKFC debut and why?🤔

Conor Benn welcomes Conor McGregor clash in reaction to recent rumors

Conor Benn has called out UFC fighters in the past when challenging them to step into a boxing ring.

The fact that he’s signed to Zuffa Boxing opens this up as a conversation, though Dana White has made it clear that he’s not interested in putting on crossover MMA vs boxing bouts.

There has been a lot of talk about what’s next for Benn following his loss to Ryan Garcia due to his promotion needing to take some time to rebuild him.

However, with how much the 30-year-old is being paid, Zuffa is still going to want to seek out some big matchups’ for subject-verb agreement.

In a post on Instagram, boxing.media claimed that Benn’s next outing could reportedly see him face off with Conor McGregor.

This quickly caught the attention of ‘The Destroyer’, who shared the post to his Instagram story, adding the caption, “Any day of the week”.

Conor McGregor expected to make his BKFC debut in ’15 months or so’

There’s no doubt that Conor McGregor would get a bigger purse for competing in boxing than he would in bare-knuckle.

However, with him being a part-owner of BKFC, bringing a huge number of viewers to the promotion by fighting in it would be an obvious move for ‘The Notorious’ to make.

BKFC boss Dave Feldman said that he thinks McGregor could debut in 15 months or so when recently speaking to Bloody Elbow.

It seems like whatever is next for McGregor in terms of his UFC career, it’s only a means to an end for him.
