Arsenal star Bukayo Saka left their UEFA Champions League game against Bayern Munich after just 10 minutes on Wednesday at the Allianz Arena.

Saka, 25, grabbed at his upper leg following a pass against Bayern, and left the game after a few more minutes.

Eberechi Eze took Saka’s place in the pitch.

Bukayo Saka injury news: Arsenal star subs off early at Bayern Munich

Saka missed time on three different occasions last Premier League season:

• Weeks 3 and 4 with a hamstring injury
• Weeks 24 and 25 with a hip problem
• Weeks 32 and 33 with a sore achilles

The first and last of those injuries also saw him miss one Champions League league phase game at Athletic Bilbao and both legs of the quarterfinals versus Sporting Lisbon.

Arsenal are also without Christos Tzolis after letting Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli leave the club this season, so this is another opportunity for Eze or young Max Dowman to claim minutes.
