FOXBOROUGH, MA – Green Bay Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon has never missed a game in the five seasons he’s been with the Packers.
He’s appeared in all 76 regular-season games for the Packers, dating to 2022.
The Week 9 matchup against the New England Patriots makes 77.
Despite being ruled questionable to play due to a nagging groin injury, Nixon is active.
Nixon participated in practice on Nov. 4, missed Nov. 5, and returned for the final practice on Nov. 6 in a limited capacity.
This is the third time over the past few weeks Nixon’s game status has been uncertain. He missed a day of practice leading into Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys and was questionable in Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers due to a shoulder injury. He played the full game in both.
Also, Christian Watson (rib) is set to play after his temporary exit against Carolina due to a broken rib.
Javon Bullard missed the Nov. 6 practice due to a personal reason, but he’s set to play.
Here’s a look at the inactives:
The Packers will play in their second straight game without two of their starting offensive linemen.
Center Sean Rhyan (ankle) and right guard Travis Glover (knee) are ruled out.
Rhyan suffered a high-ankle sprain early during the Packers’ Week 7 game against the Detroit Lions, and has missed the past two games. LaFleur said he doesn’t expect Rhyan to go on injured reserve, so it’s possible he won’t have to miss at least four games.
John Williams replaced Rhyan at center. Aaron Banks returned to the lineup for Week 8 and played left guard, while Laken Tomlinson moved to right guard.
Running back MarShawn Lloyd (knee) was added to the injury report Nov. 5 with a knee injury, and he’s ruled out for this game.
Zaire Franklin (shin) will miss his third consecutive game. The veteran linebacker injured his shin during a collision in practice.
Donovan Jennings and Josh Whyle (concussion) are the other inactives.
The Patriots are not without injuries. Receiver A.J. Brown will miss his second straight game because of ankle and knee injuries. Running back TreVeyon Henderson is also inactive after being listed as questionable because of an illness.
Ex-Packers receiver Romeo Doubs will also not be able to play against his former team as he’s still on injured reserve.
