Seventy thousand seats wouldn’t be enough to contain the anticipation.

Sixty-seven thousand, all with a Giallorossi heart, will fill the Olimpico for a night Rome has been waiting for seven years.

Real Madrid is coming, the Champions League is back, and above all, José Mourinho is back.

A match that already has the feel of a great occasion, with a sold-out stadium and a special welcome awaiting the Portuguese coach.

As Corriere dello Sport reports, the fans are preparing to turn the Olimpico into a cauldron. But before Gasperini’s team pushes against the champions of Real Madrid, there will be room for emotion.

Chants, banners, and likely a stage set will accompany the return of the Special One, who for the first time will return to the stadium that was his home for three years as an opponent.

The affection for Mourinho remains intact. The Conference League title won in Tirana, the emotions we shared, and the bond built with the fans have not been erased by time. For one night, José will be on the other side, but before kick-off, the Olimpico is ready to welcome him back. A tribute that will make an already captivating match even more special.

And Francesco Totti could also be among the 67,000. The former captain has been invited by the club to attend the match, and his presence, yet to be confirmed, would add another star to the evening. He, who wrote important pages in his career against Real Madrid, could return to experience this match from the stands, while under him, Roma will try to deliver another European night to remember.
