Celtic supporters travelling to Easter Road on Sunday have been warned to allow extra time, with Storm Boelo expected to disrupt rail services across Scotland.
The Hoops face Hibs in a midday kick-off on October 25, leaving fans planning a morning train journey with an important travel check before setting off.
ScotRail’s latest warning confirms speed restrictions are expected across much of the network from late Saturday night and throughout Sunday.
All the upcoming Celtic fixtures are on our fixtures page.
That means longer journeys, with delays and possible cancellations also expected.
Some routes will close as a precaution.
Supporters travelling from Ayrshire should note that the line between Kilwinning and Ayr is scheduled to close from 9pm on Saturday. Other closures affect sections of routes serving the Highlands and west coast.
Services on affected lines can only resume after safety inspections for storm damage and obstructions.
The warning does not announce a blanket closure of rail routes into Edinburgh, but supporters should check their individual service rather than assume the usual timetable will apply.
ScotRail advises passengers to check before travelling, leave additional time and consider alternative arrangements where possible. Updates are available through its website and app.
There is at least one welcome detail for fans facing an early start: the clocks go back tonight.
At 2am on Sunday, clocks return to 1am, giving supporters an extra hour in bed before the trip to Edinburgh.
Kick-off remains noon under the new time, so make sure any manually adjusted clocks are changed before heading off.
The extra hour will be welcome. With disruption expected, though, leaving the journey until the last minute could still mean missing the opening action at Easter Road.
