The Los Angeles Rams suffered perhaps their biggest injury blow of the season on Sunday when they lost Davante Adams to a ruptured hamstring. Sean McVay estimates Adams will miss 6-10 weeks, which puts him in danger of missing the rest of the regular season if the Rams don’t turn things around.
With a lack of proven talent at wide receiver, the Rams could turn to the trade market in search of help. And according to Dan Graziano of ESPN, that’s just what they may do.
Graziano reported in a story Wednesday that the Rams will “at least explore the possibility of trading for a wide receiver.”
There are several wideouts who could possibly be moved, including Brian Thomas Jr. and Stefon Diggs. Graziano didn’t name any names when it comes to players the Rams might target, but there will be options out there.
Thomas is especially intriguing for a few reasons. He was outstanding as a rookie with more than 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2024, but he’s fallen off the last two years. He’s coached by former Rams OC Liam Coen and the Jaguars’ current GM is James Gladstone, who worked closely with Les Snead.
The trade deadline is Nov. 10 so the Rams have some time to weigh their options, but they've got to start winning in order to stay in the playoff hunt.
