The Denver Broncos returned to practice on Wednesday as they begin on-field preparations for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
During the portion of Wednesday's practice that was open to media members, safeties Talanoa Hufanga (ankle) and Brandon Jones (hamstring) were both present. However, defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike (shoulder) and cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine (ankle) were not spotted at the indoor practice field.
Hufanga has missed the team's last three games. Jones suffered a hamstring injury in practice last Thursday but was cleared to play in Sunday's game. He then aggravated the injury during a 28-24 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Pat Bryant (ankle) returned to practice, opening his 21-day window to be activated from injured reserve. If Bryant is not activated within the next three weeks, he will spend the rest of the season on IR.
Denver's scheduled to practice again on Thursday and Friday before releasing a final injury report with game statuses for Sunday's showdown with the Panthers.
